Welcome Drinks
• Four wine tasting and light snacks provided. Option to buy additional glasses of wine or wine bottles to take home with you!
• Dress code: Dressy Casual
Friday BBQ and Lawn Games
• Wine, beer, and non alcoholic drinks will be provided. Anyone wanting to enjoy a grill buffet lunch can pay ~20 EUR on site. There is a formal restaurant on site serving coffee and a full menu for whoever would like to enjoy.
• Dress code: Casual/sporty
• Games and equipment will be provided. Pets and kids are welcome.
• Potential items to bring: a water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, 
• In case of inclement weather, we have inside space at the location to accommodate us and plenty of inside activities to enjoy!
 
Ceremony and Reception
• Dress code: Formal
• Ceremony and cocktail hour is outside on pavers, heels are OK. Check the expected temperature a couple days before to determine if you'd like a coat, shawl or other covering for the ceremony and cocktail hour.
• We will be inside if it rains. 
• Kids: We will have a babysitter from 15:00 to 23:00 and a play area for kids. Kids are welcome to sit at the ceremony and will be eating dinner with the rest of the guests. However, whenever they'd like they can hang out at the play area which will be in a room adjoining the main hall.
Region:
• Weather: at this time of year, averages cooler than NYC by 5-10°F, warmer than Calgary by 5-10°F.
• Currency: Euro (credit cards are widely accepted except for American Express).
• Language: Slovak (but English is widely spoken in tourist areas). Here's a link to a few phrases in Slovak!
General Palace Art Hotel Information
• There is a spa on site that is open for all guests to use. Additionally, massages can be reserved and paid for at the front desk.
• Breakfast is from 7:30 am to 10:30 am every day at the Pallfy Restaurant on site and is included in your stay. If you are not staying at the hotel you are still welcome at breakfast. Just indicate you're with the wedding at the front desk.
• The Viecha Restaurant on site will have normal opening hours and can be accessed by guests on all days. Traditional Slovak food can be tasted here!
• The Hotel offers short tours of the original rooms in which the ruling Duke's family lived and the history of the building and surrounding area. Inquire at the front desk.

Driving:
• A rental car is not necessary, the couple won't have one. The region is well-connected with cheap and well-run transit.
• Driving after consuming any amount of alcohol is a serious offense in Slovakia and nearby countries, including Austria and Germany. The limit for all drivers is 0.00%. That's why you'll see that every restaurant has a selection of 0.00% beers!
